The Aurora Newspaper is a FREE publication with a weekly verified circulation of 5900 copies.The newspaper is delivered at no charge to most offices of 14 Wing, door-to-door to MQs (Married Quarters) and most major subdivisions in the Greenwood/Kingston area. It is also available at most grocery and convenience stores in Greenwood and surrounding area. (Population of over 15 thousand.)
ADVERTISING RATES
Agate Line Rate: $.55 net; $7.70 per column inch, plus tax.
Column width: approximately 1.6 inches.
DEADLINES
For The Aurora Newspaper are as follows: 12:00 noon Wednesday for classified ads; 9:30 a.m. Thursday for copy and advertising smaller than one quarter page, larger ads and those requiring proofs by 12:00 noon Wednesday preceding publication date. FLYERS and INSERTS
Present circulation: 5900 copies.
One copy of the flyer must be delivered to the Managing Editor, Stephen Boates at The Aurora Newspaper, P.O. Box 99, Greenwood, NS B0P 1N0 or e-mailed to aurora@auroranewspaper.com prior to publication.
The total number of flyers in The Aurora Newspaper would be 5900 copies. The cost for the insertion of a flyer that is 1 to 8 pages is $354.00 plus tax of $46.02 for a total of $400.02.
Flyers 9 to 24 pages are 8 (eight cents each) per insertion, the cost $472.00 plus tax of $61.36 for a total of $533.36.
Please call for a quote for flyers, which are 25 or more pages.
The client is responsible for delivering the flyers, no
later than the Wednesday prior to publication, with a cover letter stating they
are to be inserted in The Aurora Newspaper including the date of insertion to:

The following table gives an overview of the rates for local display advertising in The Aurora Newspaper. A column is approximately 1 5/8 inches wide, so, an advertisement that is l column wide by 2 inches tall is charged at a rate of $15.40 plus HST per insertion. Other rates are available for bulk advertising.
