The Aurora Newspaper is a FREE publication with a weekly verified circulation of 5900 copies.

The newspaper is delivered at no charge to most offices of 14 Wing Greenwood, door-to-door to MQs (Married Quarters) and most major subdivisions in the Greenwood/Kingston area. It is also available at most grocery and convenience stores in Greenwood and surrounding area. (Population of over 15 thousand.)

ADVERTISING RATES

Agate Line Rate: $.55 net; $7.70 per column inch, plus tax. Column width: approximately 1.6 inches.

Format: Tabloid: Approximately 10.25” x 12.5”, averaging 20-24 pages.

FULL PROCESS COLOUR

Price: net $140.00 & HST  (This price is colour charge only. It does not include cost of advertising space).

DEADLINES

Are as follows: 12:00 noon Wednesday for classified ads; 9:30 a.m. Thursday for copy and advertising smaller than one quarter page, larger ads and those requiring proofs by 12:00 noon Wednesday preceding publication date. FLYERS and INSERTS

Present circulation: 5900 copies. Cost per 1000 is $70.00

One copy of the flyer must be delivered to the Managing Editor, Stephen Boates at The Aurora Newspaper, P.O. Box 99, Greenwood, NS B0P 1N0 or e-mailed to aurora@auroranewspaper.com a week prior to the insertion date of your flyer.

The cost for the insertion of a flyer is $.07 each for 1 to 8 pages at a cost of $413.00 plus $61.95 tax for a total of $474.95.

The cost for the insertion of a flyer is $.09 each for 9 to 24 pages at a cost of $531.00 plus $79.65 tax for a total of $610.65.

The deadline for delivery of flyers is no later than the Wednesday prior to publication, with a package label stating they are to be inserted in The Aurora Newspaper with the insertion date.

The following table gives an overview of the rates for local display advertising in The Aurora Newspaper. A column is approximately 1 5/8 inches wide, so, an advertisement that is l column wide by 2 inches tall is charged at a rate of $15.40 plus HST per insertion. Other rates are available for bulk advertising.
